Lionheart Students Share Their Voices On The Radio
The opportunity to be on the radio is a dream for many people. To share your story, sing a song, talk sports, respond to current events, and promote worthy causes is what makes these people’s adrenaline charge and heart pump. A group of students from The Lionheart School are realizing that dream and their voices and opinions are heard by many in the Atlanta area and beyond. The YMCA in Metro Atlanta has a radio station housed in the Ed Isakson Alpharetta YMCA called Y Person Radio and they have opened their doors and the airwaves to the students at The Lionheart School, who broadcast songs, provide sports reporting, as well as movie and book reviews. Sometimes the students just cut loose with Mr. Jimmy, a YMCA radio host, and have a nice laugh! Y Person Radio is on the air 24 hours a day and plays a wide array of music to fit any preference. Listen in from 1:30-3:30 every Monday to hear Carly, Vance, Sam, Hampton, Conor and Xander share their favorite music, sports teams, family trips and much more! Y Person Radio can be listened to on any internet browser HERE or on Android and IOS mobile devices through the Tune-in Radio App. Check out Carly in action HERE!
