The Lionheart Gardens

The Lionheart Gardens is an organic farm tended by faculty, staff, and students of The Lionheart School, alongside community volunteers. More than a garden, it’s a living classroom where STEAM comes to life through everyday experiences — planting and harvesting, observing how things grow, measuring and problem-solving, and discovering the art and wonder found in nature.

Students learn about growing and eating healthy food, caring for the earth, and the simple but powerful science at work in every seed, stem, and season. Each visit brings new lessons and new discoveries, connecting what students explore in the classroom to what they experience with their hands in the soil.

The Lionheart Gardens also builds meaningful life skills and, for many students, opens the door to vocational training and potential job placement post-graduation — growing not just food, but confidence, curiosity, and futures.
